Scotland – West Highland Way – Walking Short Break – 4 Day


This tour will bring you to the tallest mountain in the British Isles, Ben Nevis. Next to one of Scotland’s oldest way-marked trails, the West Highland Way, which is the best low-level walks that you are able to find. The West Highland Way offers a dynamic scene that will make for an extraordinary day.



We will leave Dublin early in the morning and drive to Belfast, where we will take the ferry for Stranraer. when we arrive we drive north through some breathtaking terrain to Fort William, stopping at several places on the way.

DAY 2 BEN NEVIS Distance: 16 km, Ascent: 1324 m, Walking time: 4 hrs

Our first walk starts at the base of Ben Nevis, which we will be climbing. We will pass the river Nevis to meet the Mountain Track, which takes us to the summit and back. On the way you will have impressive views of the valley of Glen Nevis and surrounding mountains. If we have a clear day the views from the summit are unbelievable.

DAY 3 WEST HIGHLAND WAY Distance 12 km, Ascent: 200 m, Walking time: 3 hrs

Our next walk takes us on the West Highland Way. This is one of the best low-level walks that you can find. Offering a dynamic landscape that is sure to make for an extraordinary day.


On our departure day we will leave Tyndrum and drive to Stranraer, where the ferry will take us back home. Arriving back in Dublin at approximately 21.00 hrs.
